All Childminders in the UK are required by law to be inspected
by OFSTED. The purpose of this inspection is to assure government, parents
and the public of the quality and standard of childminding. Inspectors
will be observing how the childminders meet the National
Standards for under 8s.
I was last inspected on 22/01/2004. The outcome of the
inspection was classified as GOOD.
Summary of the report
- Provides a warm and welcoming environment for children
- A good working relationship with parents is evident. Parents are kept
informed on a daily basis about the care of their children.
- The home is organised to allow plenty of play space
- Children are provided with a wide range of resources, which are suitable
for all ages and interests
- Good planned activities are provided, which cover all the areas of
early learning and development
- All children are encouraged within an equal opportunities environment.
Children are respected and given individual support as required
- Good hygiene practice minimises children's risk to infection and all
medical records are maintained
