Glass Dome Replacement

Please measure any major fragments of the original that are available.

If there are none then very careful measurements are necessary

One of the best ways to be satisfied that the shape of the new dome will be suitable for your clock is to make a stiff wire former made from an old coat hanger. Pass this over your clock in every direction to make sure of complete clearance especially at the pendulum level.

The three dimensions needed are:
#1: Total Height
#2: Height of vertical sides
#3: Circumference at the base

Identification Service for Selection of Correct Suspension

If you send me an actual size photo copy of the rear plate of your clock and note ALL of the markings and their position it is possible I will be able to identify the movement and supply a suitable Suspension.

Please circle all threaded holes in the plate.

The assembly would be provided complete and ready for self-installation.

I will not install any replacement Suspension without my doing a full overhaul to make sure that all other parts are functioning properly.

Once the movement has been identified or if the old spring is available, replacements are available - usually at around 10 UK Pounds plus postage.

Fitting service - 5 UK Pounds per spring in addition to purchase cost and postage.
