General Notes for Barometer Service

Shipping for Aneroid barometers generally is straightforward and they travel very well providing suitable protection is made for the glass.  
Obviously, if there is a clock included in the structure additional care is required and this is one of the reasons I ask for details in the main boxes below.
United Kingdom shipping is easily done using the Royal Mail Special Delivery service or the Insured Parcel Force service.
For larger possibly heavier barometers I can arrange a courier service to collect from you and to return the item after restoration.
Shipping from outside UK is not difficult as long as you remember to state clearly on the Customs docket that the item is FOR REPAIR AND RETURN. 
Please do not send your items to me until we have had preliminary contact and a suitable time has been allocated.
I do not take in more work than I am able to accommodate in my workshop.
