Celebrations of Life A celebration of life is just that, a nondenominational celebration of your loved ones' life, thanking God for their place in our lives, and returning them to the everlasting arms. This type of service is especially appreciated by those who do not attend church on a regular basis. This service includes a personal tribute (eulogy) and a short sermon, The Lord’s Prayer and a Celtic blessing. You have the choice of music e.g. classical, modern or traditional hymns, and a choice of prayers, readings or poems.
Funerals
Funerals are the standard service for your chosen denomination, where you may choose Christian readings, poems or hymns. However the emphasis is on praising God and marking the end of your loved ones' life, returning them to the earth. This service includes a sermon eulogy and family prayers, The Lord’s Prayer and a Christian blessing. This is often a difficult time, a time however where you will want to make sure everything is conducted properly, with care and professionalism. You may wish to contribute with a reading or eulogy (I am happy to help with the preparation of this). I am here to help the bereaved to arrange their very personal celebration of life or funeral. There are some beautiful readings and poems of which I have a selection for you to choose from if you so wish. I visit every bereaved family (where possible) in the comfort of their home, and to offer my condolences. There may be times when you wish to plan for your own or loved ones' funeral or celebration of life. This allows you to let the family know just what you require. If this is the case I can recommend services, funeral directors and stone masons.
Please pray for those I have taken services for, and their families: Ronald, Ivy, Ernest, Veronica, Ann, Betty, Helen, Keith, Richard, Alan, Suzy, Colin, Kenneth, Beryl, James (Jim), Stanley, Ian, Joy, Maurice, William, Jean, Ken, Derek, Meg, Bill, Douglas, Ernie, Edna, Alison, Lucie, Reginald, Jeanne, Paul, Alan, Frank, Stevie, Lynne and Doll, RIP.
