Bitter truth

History is repeated. Congress is back in power with Girija Prasad Koirala as Prime Minister. This time the government is formed as a minority one. Congress could have formed the majority government with coalition of other parties like before. But party president has a different view. The present government is the fifth one after the 1994 midterm election which bought a hung parliament. All of the past governments were toppled by infamous static figure of 203. That was the main cause that the nation could not do any development rather than always busy with infamous figure for power equation. Prime Minister Koirala is a dynamic bold leader of today the nation have.

He is dedicated for the democratic cause of the nation. His past blunder was the call of midterm poll in 1994, when his party was in overwhelming majority in the house of parliament. It was due to non co-operation of rival faction group within the party and ill advise of unmatured thinking tanks of his kitchen cabinet members. Moreover, he did not heed the advise of the Supreme Leader Ganesh Man Singh and his own party President Krishna Prasad Bhattarai and started acting undemocratically.

PM Koirala has experienced unbelievable ups and downs between the 1994 midterm election and today in the party. Today he has become more matured, bold, dedicated and unselfish. He is still surrounded by same ex-kitchen members. But good news is he is not within their grip. Today his cabinet members are congress MPs but not belonging to any faction. He is trying to run government democratically as per preamble of democratic constitution of nation. He is giving due importance to any matter raised in the party for the safe guard of party democracy and interest of the nation; even if that is unfavourable to him.

The superficial rivalry, jealousy, criticism etc inter and intra parties to be stopped once and for all. All loyal nationalist leaders must be united until next general election and dedicate themselves for the cause of the country. The matter of national consensus is getting utmost priority among the parties. If this became a reality the bright future of our nation is not far.
