The DCA are holding a rally at Woodham Ferrers YC (near the head of the Crouch), this to include a barbeque. This would be an excellent opportunity for a weekend dinghy cruise from Paglesham. With HW at 08:18hrs on Saturday, it should be possible to do most of the trip with a following tide and maybe fit in a Sunday Lunch at Burnham or the pub on Foulness Island.

We usually gather at Riverside Campsite, Wallasea Island, on the Saturday afternoon/evening of our cruise week giving a chance to discuss plans and prepare equipment, ready for a prompt start on Sunday morning. I think HW on Sunday will be about 07-30, so an early start would be a good idea, espeicially if we plan to head north towards Suffolk. Saturday 23 is also the day of the Paglesham Show, so we should be able to fit that in on Saturday afternoon. At the end of the cruise we usually aim to get back to Paglesham with at least one day in hand, so in all probablility we will be going home from Paglesham some time on the second Saturday, but this does depend on whether we get delayed by the weather. I know that one or two people who have not sailed with the HSC before are interested in coming on our cruise. This should be OK, but you will need to join the HSC as at least Associate Members and it would be good if you could make contact with our group beforhand to discuss plans and to get an idea of what is involved.

From approximately 18:00 at Paglesham villiage hall. Once again, I expect the supper will be followed by a slide show.
