Welcome to the home page of St James' Parish Church Christleton. Christleton is located 2 miles south east of Chester between the A41 and A51 main roads leading out from Chester. Christleton is in the rural deanery, archdeaconry and diocese of Chester. St James' is a fine  example of a typical English church located in a pretty rural village. This page has been constructed to provide information for visitors to the area who are interested in village churches and their history.
