Whether you are a
holidaymaker or a resident of Salisbury who would like to know more about our
historic city and Cathedral, the surrounding countryside and glorious local
gardens, our guides will be pleased to welcome you.
The Salisbury City Walk lasts approximately one and a half hours and starts at
the Tourist Information Centre in Fish Row. We explain the origins of our
remarkable City, and walk via St. Thomas’s Church to the Cathedral Close.
The walk takes place every Saturday and Sunday at 11.00 am during November,
December, January, February and March. The daily walks will start again in
April 2005.
Many of our guides also give talks on specialist subjects to clubs, societies and other special interest groups.
