My Father was an antiquarian bookseller, so I consider that I was born into the trade! My early experience was gained working with my Father in his shop in Bury St Edmunds. I set up my own business after my Father's retirement (not that he really retired). Nowadays I work from home, offering a good general stock at the Collectors' Fairs that I attend in the East Anglia region. MY STOCK: As you browse through my catalogues, you will see that I offer a good variety of titles, mostly in the £3 to £30 range. Antiquarian and specialist works will be there, as well as the more everyday titles that you may be seeking. Unless clearly stated, books are offered without major flaws, most being at least Very Good. I use the standard UK bookselling descriptions, with additional details where helpful. The subject listings are arranged alphabetically by author. Use of the find facility on your browser will help you find specific items. Once you have located something of interest, please contact me for more information - e-mail or phone are best If you can't find the title that you require, it is also worth contacting me with your wants, as I have an extensive stock awaiting cataloguing, although I don't yet offer a search service. PAYMENTS: I welcome contact by e-mail, telephone or fax. Please supply full details of the book(s) required. Prices do not include post/shipping. Postal costs will be set by agreement at time of order - I generally use UK 2nd Class Post Office rates. Normally payment will be requested with order. For the present I do not take credit cards. I would prefer payment by Sterling cheque, Sterling Money Order or Interbank payment, but cheques/cash in Euros are acceptable. Books will usually be dispatched within four days of receipt of payment. Should you find that your purchase is not as described, please notify me within one week of receipt in order to arrange the return of the books. |
