UK Breed Clubs and Associations:

All of these bodies are formed for the forwarding of the breed, they organize dog shows, present stands at Crufts and other major dog shows and offer advice and help for those interested in the breed. They also offer rescue facilities for re-homing of Samoyeds and will also know of reputable breeders with available puppies. 	The Samoyed Association has produced a book that is probably the ONLY book you'll ever need for information on the Samoyed, it covers just about every subject. It is available from the association at the address listed in the table above, currently it costs £23.75 including UK posting and is worth every penny.
	The bible for natural diet feeding is a book called "Give your dog a bone", the book does not appear to have an ISBN number, but I bought mine from a company called "Crosskeys" for £16.99. They stock LOADS of doggy books and their details are listed below under the "Doggy Suppliers" table.

Listed in the Internet links table below is a link to order books on-line from WHSmiths, the Samoyed Association book is not listed, but there are several others listed which are written by well known people within the breed. - I have not personally used this service yet.

www.jemmathedog.co.uk	Bobby used to have a "girlfriend" called Kia, she was a Rhodesian Ridgeback, they were very close and would play together at every oppertunity. Kia was a spayed bitch, a few weeks younger than Bobby, however the spaying operation caused Kia to become mildly incontinent. Apparently this is quite common and tends to be more of a risk the larger the breed. Kia`s owner was told that apart from constant medication, there was no cure available. Now there is one, this site details keyhole surgery techniques that have been proven to have a 75% success rate and are now available in the UK.  Kia unfortunately died in the summer of 1999 and will be very sadly missed, especially by Bobby.
