The Weavils are based in Cheshire, UK. Originally a four-piece band, they were joined in 2010 by a female singer who now gigs with them regularly and enhances their lively blend of acoustic music with her unique and arresting style. Their performances are well suited to iindoor/outdoor venues, celebrations, events, festivals and processions.

Who might like the Weavils ?
The Weavils repertoire covers a wide range of musical styles, with an emphasis on fun and entertainment, that appeals to all age groups.
What instruments do the Weavils play ?
The instrumental line-up includes a combination of tuba, guitars, saxophones, penny whistles, hand percussion, and the occasional melodica and plastic clarinet.
This allows the Weavils to play in various moods and styles, including saxophone-led jazz/latin/Caribbean arrangements, guitar-led blues and lyrical penny whistle tunes from all over the world.
Singer Lisa has introduced a wealth of songs in many styles including jazz standards, Latin, Blues and some more contemporary numbers.
The Weavils also play several original compositions written especially for the band.
