Eight members from  Sarn Helen club completed the ‘Ras yr Wyddfa’.  The10 mile race starts  in Llanberis and climbs 3,210 feet to the summit of Snowdon, and back down to Llanberis.
 
Dawn Kenwright and Carwyn Thomas both had good races, Dawn Kenwright won the Vet 50 category, and  Carwyn Thomas reached the summit  in an excellent time of 51 minutes and 10 seconds, and came down in 27 minutes and 30 seconds.

The results:  24 position Carwyn Thomas 1 hour 18 minutes and 41 seconds,  103- Glyn Price 1 hour 33 minutes 22 seconds,  160 - Mark Dunscombe 1 hour 39 minutes and 16 seconds,  220 – Huw Rowcliffe 1 hour 44 minutes and 44 seconds,  224 – Richard Marks 1 hour 50 minutes 37 seconds, 281 Dawn Kenwright 1 hour 50 minutes and 37 seconds,297 Huw Price 1 hour 52 minutes 3 seconds, 443 – Caryl Davies 2 hours 17 minutes 21 seconds.
