Texas, tango & toes

Texas' new video for ‘In Demand’ features Sharleen tango-ing with movie baddie, Alan Rickman. Sharleen says she knew who she wanted to dance with in the video as soon as she was asked:

"I thought it had to be someone who would be believable, who would rip your coat off and pull you into the tango, so I thought Alan Rickman!"

The Texas frontwoman told Radio 1 Rick is an amazing dancer, but she still ended up with sore feet: "I had to dance in my high heels but he did tread on my toe only once so I’ll forgive him for that!"

                    Rickman fancies Sharleen back!

                    Earlier this week, Texas singer Sharleen spoke to Radio 1 about dancing                       with Alan Rickman in her new video and revealed how  much she fancied him.        

So Radio 1 took the opportunity of breaking the news to him at Wednesday's premiere: "Oh really? Not half as much as I fancied her! It’s not difficult when you’re pressed that close together. It was a thrill. She’s a really good dancer."
