FIFA World Cup 2006! It's the greatest bit of pageantry in football (that's soccer if you're stateside) and it all kicks off 9th June. Look, much as we hate to admit, we all know England won't win but that won't stop us from hanging on to the edge of our sofas and savouring every last nail biting minute (before recreating the matches on FIFA 2006 on the PS2). In honour of our galant boys going back 'over there' *ahem* I've put up an in-yer-face footie track that was done a while ago under my Headrush guise. Dusted down and beefed up it's an adrenaline fueled 130bpm monster featuring the vocal talents of Phil Cornwall doing those pesky 'unclearable' Micheal Caine samples. And then there's the Prodigy-esque remix which we did for $hits and giggles... Enjoy! |

Smax n Smash! Legendary Champion Top Fuel drag racing wildman Smax has become a bit of a mash-up fan via some mash-ups.co.uk mixes! I'd love to think the head honcho was listening to Wild Rock Music hurtling down the strip but to be fair, when he's doing quarter miles in around 4 seconds he wouldn't have even got past the intro!

Bootleggers always know best! Considering the remaining Doors members are so touchy about each others use of the band name you'd think they'd be a little more picky about who they threw pellas out to! I've just been listening to the latest remixes and most of them are shockingly bad - primarily DJ Paul Edge, his "unlock the doors" output is truly awfull And Paul Oakenfold, what were you thinking?! How did this stuff get approved. There are exceptions to the rule, notably BT vs Doors and Crystal Method's version of Roadhouse Blues both of which sound great cranked up to the max. Luckily Go Home Production's Rapture Riders from last year shows how it should be done...shame they didn't follow his lead. |
