A Millennium Events Publicity Board is displayed at the Surrey Quays Shopping Centre (opposite Mothercare), and any group wishing to publish an event it is organising in Millennium Year may do so by contacting Peter Brooks.

The Rotherhithe Millennium Festival is designed to celebrate the area’s rich heritage and present cultural diversity. Organisations and groups of all sorts and sizes in the Rotherhithe peninsula and riverside areas of Bermondsey are invited to take part by holding an event, hosting an open day, or in any other fun, creative way. The events will be linked by street trains and / or antique buses. Contact the organisers for details.
