Attunement of Saturn

I am Saturn
oldest of the gods.

Lawgiver and Time-maker,
Cosmic Tester and Earthly Teacher,
Old Father Time Reaper,
Tempter and Molder,
preserver of customs and natural laws

I solidify
I forge the bonds of communities together,
I slow down the speed of molecules
so the invisible can be visible.

I protect through limitation and time,
security through structure;
the egg, the chrysalis, the skeleton,
the shell, the skin,
the backbone.

Planet of Limitation and Endings,
planet of Necessity,
planet of High Achievement,
of perfect justice over time,
I confine and define.

I focus and concentrate energy
of expression into the Soul’s power.
I bring back to you what you create.
My restriction, misunderstood
at times harsh and brittle,
ensures growth and survival.

Freedom arises
only out of self-control, shaped
by the revolving wheels of Fate.

To polish anything,
armour or character,
sometimes means resistance, friction,
pain and the renewal of death.

Those who respect my law and power
shed their shell,
discard their armour,
drop their husks
and like grain are ground
and kneaded, transformed
from death into life.
Spirit is released out of matter
and reigns supreme and radiant.

I am precise, exact and exacting.
To each his deserving.
To each his duty completed.
To each reward and renewed life
to my cosmic measure.

I am the Keeper of the Cosmic Clock;
I teach the first law of manifestation,
Law of Limitation and Endings,
and of new structures.
