current version: foo_looks 2.0 (public beta)
despite the risk of sounding patronizing, i think it best that i describe the process in steps:
download the following files to your computer:
- foo_looks 2.0 install zip
- LUA 4.0 dll's
and if you are not using windows XP, you will also need the following:
- GDI+ dll's (from www.microsoft.com)
make sure that you have closed Foobar2000
extract the foo_looks install zip into your foobar2000/components/ directory.
extract the LUA dlls into the foobar2000/ root directory
if you require GDI+, run the installer
(note: you may need to copy gdi.dll from System32/ into the foobar2000/ root directory)
start Foobar2000, and watch the console for any error messages.
hopefully, there are no errors.
go to the components menu in foobar2000, and select Look > Activate
if you want to change 'looks', go to your foobar2000 preferences, and go to the preferences for +Components+Looks
here, you can set a primary & secondary skin for foo_looks
Done.
