I am currently the Creative Director of the twohundredby200 studio as well as being the Editor of the twohundredby200 magazine and although I am primarily a graphic designer, I have developed my skill set to include web, video and app design. I am daft about geocaching, guitar hero and crazy golf.
I started my design career in the sign industry where I was taught the inside and outs of design, production and installation of all forms of signage. I covered everything from fascia signs and vehicle livery through to designing effective large-scale infographic/directional systems for hospitals and airports.
After a few years I moved into the exhibition and display sector where I further developed my skills through designing award-winning interactive environments for museums, visitors centres, national events and retail outlets throughout the UK and Europe.I then moved in the PR and marketing arena and while there, I gained a great deal of experience in campaign and press management as well as developing a taste for journalism.
In 2002 I took the big step and founded twohundredby200.It began originally as webzine but as interest grew, it slowly developed into the successful design studio it is today. In 2008 we took a break from producing the webzine due to time demands being made on the studio but in 2011 we brought it back as a iPad and print magazine with a wider remit to cover all aspects of creativity and on a global basis.

Below is listed a selection of some of my core skills.
I am currently the creative director of the twohundredby200 studio with my main focus being graphic design. Over the years I have worked on thousands of graphic projects and have experienced almost every aspect within the field including design for advertising, corporate, retail and exhibitions.
Attention to visual design in developing web sites is often an aspect overlooked by companies that have little experience in graphical layout. I have been combining my graphic design skills with the web for over 15 years to deliver stunning and functional web sites for a myriad of clients worldwide.
A relatively new skill set in my arsenal of skills but one I am currently buidling upon.Apps allow a business to connect with a customer in a more personal way. With an app a business can be present in their customers lives wherever they take and access their device.
The impact that your brand strategy makes must be compelling, attractive and unique compared to competitors. The brand impact must also be consistently reinforced throughout all levels of an organisation, from senior managers straight through to customer service staff and even your business partners. Building on the base values of a brand should be the core of any branding strategy..
Good photography compliments brochures, websites or apps and helps increase effective communication with customers. I often undertake a wide range of projects from photography and post processing for websites and brochures through to single photographs for press or marketing purposes..
As well as being a designer I am also the current editor of the twohundredby200 creative magazine. I also work as a freelance journalist for several design-led publications throughout the world and have a great deal of experience in interviewing creatives, reviews of products and researching stories.
