As experienced
DJ's , we can also act as your informal Toastmaster / MC to help and
advise you through the day, and to help to organise the receiving line and speeches. You
will also have use of a radio microphone to enhance your speeches (if required).
During the meal we play very soft background music.

ULTIMATE
ROADSHOW
If
your event is being held in a large hall (attracting over 250 people) then you
need our Ultimate Roadshow set up! People are
often worried about how loud the disco will be, but a small, underpowered disco with
lights designed for a small hall within a large venue can be a disaster!
With a power output of just under 1kw, we also increase the lightshow to make a truly
outstanding event. But don't worry, we always remember the correct use of the volume
control.

WHAT ELSE DO
I NEED TO KNOW?
1. Where is your
20 mile range from and to?
From
Benfleet,
our range is to Purfleet west along the A13.
Brentwood, Chelmsford and Maldon to the NW, North and NE (see
map below). If it is a short
distance outside that area (eg. Braintree, Harlow, Colchester
etc. we add a small travel charge of £10).
2. Work other
then on the
ground floor of a venue
Because of the size, weight,
and value of the equipment we use, we
do not work at venues that are not
on a ground floor of a building (i.e. on a first floor or basement).
3. I contacted you and
you were already booked
2008 is one of
our busiest year's yet, and we are heavily booked already for summer 2008! So if the
DJ you contact is already booked, he will offer you the contact details of
another of our presenters, who you will book with direct. The SEEDS Disco DJ's
do
not recommend any other DJ's who are not part of the SEEDS Disco group or are
not shown on this website.
4. Booking Fee
We always ask for a non refundable Booking Fee, this is 30% of the total charge with full payment

(twenty-one) days before the date of performance or cash on the evening before commencement
of performance. This means that you know that
your entertainment is booked, and you know that we will not let you down.
If
your Disco entertainment does not take a deposit, then ask why not? is this their
side-line job? are they paying tax? are they covered by Public Liability
Insurance? Is their equipment PAT tested? Most importantly will they let you down? You have enough to worry about in getting
your big day sorted out, without you worrying if your Disco
entertainment is going to turn up.
5. Are
you insured and how safe is your equipment?
A number
of our presenters carry P.L.I. (PUBLIC LIABILITY INSURANCE).
This covers you and your guests against accidents. They also have their
disco equipment P.A.T. (portable appliance tested) as per the new safety
laws from March 2004. This is a periodic check (at least yearly) by a
qualified electrician to see that all equipment they use is safe!
Many
halls/hotels/venues request both of these as standard. If your DJ does
not have either they won't be able to play!!
6. A Final Thought
If cost is your only consideration then
you have wasted your time viewing these pages. What
SEEDS Disco's offer you is a fully experienced
"full time
DJ" with top quality equipment, and whose soul aim is to make sure you and your guests
have an evening to remember.
