In the mid 1960s Mo studied
physics at the university of Sussex. During this period he played both drums and bass in a
wide variety of different bands. Once he graduated he formed 'Affinity', a progressive

blossomed into one of the most prestigious of any contemporary bass player. Mo is now
established as a top session musician, record producer, author, and solo artist with
albums such as Bel Assis, Southern
Reunion and Time to Think.
As a sideman, Mo has played on over 350 albums by a multitude of top artists as well as
touring the World playing concerts with Jeff Beck, Phil Collins, Joan Armitrading, Gil
Evans, Michael D'Abo, Van Morrison, Eric Clapton, Sting, Dusty Springfield, The Manfreds,
Veronique Sanson, James Griffin (Bread), Maggie Bell, Mike Smith, George Martin, RMS and
the London Symphony Orchestra. Plus, of course, Cliff Richard, Marvin Welch & Farrar
and The Shadows.
Apart from his own solo CDs, Mo has produced albums for Dr John (Such a Night),
Maria Muldaur (Live in London), Gil Evans (Take Me To The Sun), RMS (Centennial
Park), Adrian Legg (Fretmelt), and a new album for Debbie Bonham (The
Old Hyde) released in August 2001.
His Many film music sessions include James Bond For Your Eyes Only/Octopussy, Revenge
