The Kentalina Windom
The Big Daddy variation of the famous Carolina Windom gives good performance on all bands from 160 to 10Metres.
The overall length of the antenna is 84.45 metres. It does require an ATU on 1.8Mhz and the WARC bands. Most radiation is off the ends of the antenna, which shows useful gain on all HF Bands.
The Capacitor in the "short" leg is around 400pf and affects 80 / 160 metre resonance only.
At the feedpoint,
use a BALUN comprising 13 turns of 75 ohm twin, bifilar wound
on a pair of T200-2 torroids stacked together.
Below the Balun add around a dozen 6mm i.d. ferrite beads and then form the coax into a choke (around 16.37metres total).
