PROJECTS : Cwmorthin |
|||||||||||||||||
|
Cwmorthin produces around 410 kW of power, about average for a project of this type. Demand for power rises in winter which is when river flows are at their peak. Operation is therefore naturally aligned with consumer demand. Like conventional power stations, the hydro scheme produces power for about 70% of the year.
