 For two brief years you lived your life

And gave me so much love.

A life that ended far too soon

Now you’re in heaven above.

Scrummy by name and scrummy you were

My darling tortie cat

Truly scrumptious, a mum to be

Not too young for that.

  But oh too young by far to die

After giving birth

Your four sweet darlings crying now

Left back here on earth

  And I cry too, along with them

An oceanful of tears

I never thought to lose you now

Not for many years.

  It’s natural to reproduce

And neither you nor I

Ever thought it would result

In you having to die.

  I miss and weep for you, sweet cat

A light snuffed out too soon

And for myself I weep some more

As for both of us I mourn.

 At least you are now free from ill

And unknown, hidden pain

But I ache so, for I know that           

I will never see you again.

  But I know that within my heart

Your memory will lie

And so long as I hold you there

You will never fade or die.

A beautiful little man......passed away at the tender age of 17 weeks.

He struggled to survive when he was born - but recovered well and kept pace with his sister but alas, he couldn't over come the enlarged heart that had caused his problems

Monty was only 11 months old when we found that he was riddled with cancer and there was nothing that could be done for him...........he was a lovely friendly boy and although he wasn't with us for long we loved him very much.

Dear Glen passed away in his sleep on Sunday 13th October, 2002.

He was barely 16 months old and we shall miss him very, very much.
