Renowned for her pastel painting, Margaret also tutors watercolours, oils, acrylics and other media. She is internationally known for her portraits in oil and pastel, and a member of the Portrait Society of America featuring regularly in the International Artist Magazine.Her numerous teaching videos and DVDs are available worldwide. Shinafoot is Margaret's home base and venue for her workshops. Situated between Stirling and Perth, and an hours drive from both Glasgow and Edinburgh International airports, it is easily accessible. There is a train station a few miles out of town and a reliable taxi service is also available.

My purpose in life is to turn the uninitiated to pastel, helping them to see it is a serious painting medium not just a sketching tool.
