Ivor Williams
Ivor Williams is a proud Salopian who was born and bred in Shrewsbury where he studied music, and is involved deeply in the social life of the community. He is well known as a fund raiser of some standing for any cause which is worthy of his attention. After studying choral skills and techniques under Dr Kenneth Greenway, and music under Miss H. Ward LLCM, ATCL, he obtained Merit in the Trinity College of Music, London examinations. He joined the Choir in 1983, and took up the baton in 1992 to became Musical Director. Under his leadership, the choir continues to go from strength to strength.
