Renovations - Phase Two
Work started in August 2001 on the interior of Sandside. All the internal partitions, walls, lathe and plaster were removed. Most of the wood that was removed was rotten so it was chopped up and has been used as firewood around the island - Sandside has been recycled!
Wooden strapping has been put on the walls, with fibreglass insulation and plasterboard on top.
