Below is a car my grandfather designed and built in the 1920s
- subsequently restored in the 1990s

As a child I spent many happy hours playing in this car - then in a semi-derelict state.
The face appearing just right of centre of this photograph is my nephew .

 

 

Below is a summons my grandfather received in 1903 for exceeding the 12mph speed limit.

Interestingly, my grandfather's surname has been misspelled.
