Soft Play
‘Little Monkeys’ will be visiting the Parent & Toddler group on Tuesday 17th October for a morning of Soft Play fun.
Open Day
Our Open Day will be held at Sopley Village Hall on Saturday 25th November starting at 10am. There will be numerous stalls, including cakes, raffle, and crafts as well as Cardwell Photographer for family photographs.
If you are interested in having a sitting for photos, please reply on the attached slip at the end of this newsletter. This will allow us to allocate times for sittings rather than for everyone to endure periods of queuing. The package will cost £12, which includes a fridge magnet.
Please note that the previously advertised time for the photographer was Thursday 23rd November – this sitting has now been cancelled in favour of our Open Day.
Fireworks and Bonfire Night
The annual Bonfire Party on behalf of the Bransgore School Association will be held on Sunday 5th November at the ‘Three Tuns’ in Bransgore.
Tickets are £5 for a family ticket if bought in advance or £6 at the gate. Tickets are available from Stepping Stones staff.
Gates open at 6.30pm. There is a Guy competition at 6.45pm. The bonfire will be lit at 7pm with fireworks starting at 7.15pm.
To help the children get in the mood for this party, we are organizing ‘Bonfire Workshops’ for 3-8 year olds on Saturday 4th November, 10 - 12.30pm.
They will be able to make a guy, bob for apples, make masks and much more!
Children should bring a packed lunch and the session will cost £3.50 per child.

London Christmas Shopping Trip
The coach will leave Bransgore shoppers car park on Saturday 2nd December at 8am. The coach drops off at the National History Museum (between South Kensington or Gloucester Road tube stations) and departs from there at 6pm for the return journey.
Seats are £10 each. If you are interested in booking seats for this great opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done or for a day out at the museums, please reply on the attached slip.

Christmas Outing
This years Christmas outing will be to Moors Valley on Sunday 10th December at 10am.
We have organized a ride on the train, and for the children to meet Father Christmas and receive a Christmas present. The adults will receive mince pies and mulled wine!
The cost will be £4 for Pre-Schoolers and toddlers, which has been subsidized by Stepping Stones and £5.50 for adults and other siblings.
We need to book early so please register your interest on the attached reply slip as soon as possible.
Christmas Party and Workshops
The Christmas party for the Parent & Toddler group will be on Tuesday 12th December at 10am. Father Christmas will be paying us a visit so please bring a wrapped present for your child up to the value of £5 with their name clearly marked. There will also be Soft Play on this last morning of term.
The Pre-School Nativity and Christmas Party will be on Friday 15th December.
We are also arranging a Christmas Workshop for 3 – 8 year olds, which will include making Christmas decorations, crackers, table decorations, baking and much more. The workshop will be from 10am – 3pm on either Saturday 16th or Monday 18th December. This date will be confirmed as soon as possible as will the cost of the session. A packed lunch will be needed.
These workshops will only be run on demand so please use the reply slip to indicate which day you have a preference for.
Parents Rota
If you have a child at Pre-School, can you assist us by offering to come in and help for a couple of mornings each term? This would be greatly appreciated so if you can help please speak to Marie or Sancia.
Fees
Unfortunately, it’s not all good news. Due to the recent increase in the Minimum Wage, we are obliged to increase our Pre-school fees. From the January 2001 term, the fees will be £4.75 per session. Payments can be made in variety of ways, either weekly, half termly or full termly.
