And now for some more general information:
‘Free Books for Schools’ tokens
The collecting box for any tokens is in the village hall porch.Parents Rota
Another reminder for any offers of help from parents at Pre-school this term. The rota is on the notice board so please sign up if you can.
Shoes at Pre-School
Please remember that children should have soft shoes or slippers for use indoors when at Pre-School.
Parking
With the increase in numbers attending Pre-School, parking in Priest Lane is becoming more difficult. If it is at all possible to use car-shares, then this will help to alleviate the problem but otherwise, can we request that parents park as considerately as possible when dropping off and picking up. It is expected that land beside the village hall will be given over to create a small car parking area, which will help considerably but this may not occur until later this summer.
Stepping Stones Shirts
Stepping Stones T-shirts (£4) and sweatshirts (£5) are available from staff.
Treasure Hunt Forms
If there are any more Treasure Hunt forms to be handed in, please try and bring them in as soon as possible so that we may announce the total of funds raised.
Committee Members
If anyone is interested in joining the committee later this year when a few existing members are stepping down, then please speak to Sancia. We are a friendly bunch and we do have some fun!
London Marathon Sponsorship
Annie Jenkinson has been accepted for this year’s London Marathon and will be running to raise money for a few charities including Stepping Stones, so if you are able to sponsor Annie for her endeavours then please add your name to her sponsor form, which will be available shortly.
