Thanks...
Firstly, many thanks to Louise and Nigel Reid for their kind
hospitality at the Easter Egg Hunt. We were fortunate that the rain
held off and everyone had an enjoyable morning.
A total of £188 was raised by the half term Treasure Hunt and these
funds will be used to buy a new play kitchen, which should be with us
shortly. Thank you to everyone to helped to achieve this.
Thanks also to Sarah Gray for donating a computer chair for use by the
Pre-school.
Congratulations to Annie Jenkinson on completing the London Marathon
in a very admirable 4 hours and 15 minutes. Annie was raising funds
for 3 local charities including Stepping Stones so many thanks to
anyone who sponsored her run.
Bransgore Fun Day
This takes place next Monday, May 7th. Stepping Stones Pre-School will
be there with a stall selling cakes, toys, books, children’s clothes
and equipment so if you have anything to donate please can you bring
them into school this week or even bring them along to the stall
around 1pm on Monday, especially if you are donating cakes!
We are also looking for any willing hands to help man the stall on a
rota basis. Any help, however limited, will be greatly appreciated.
Please speak to a member of staff or committee if you can offer some
time on Monday afternoon.

Cupboard Clearout
We need to clear out the Pre-school cupboard at the Village Hall and perform a full inventory. This isn’t the easiest of jobs so we are asking for as many pairs of hands as possible to help with this onerous task. This clearout is planned for Tuesday 24th July, just before term ends, so if anyone feels that they can offer a few hours assistance, please speak to a member of staff.
Miscellaneous Points to Note
Please can everyone picking up at 1pm after Lunch Club be as prompt as possible as this will allow the staff to finish clearing the hall.
Please can all items of clothing and footwear be clearly labelled to avoid any confusion on ownership.
There will be a Body Shop stall at Parent and Toddlers next Tuesday, May 8th, as one of the Mum’s, Justine, is a Body Shop hostess, so please feel free to drop in.
Please note that this years Sopley School fete and evening disco have been cancelled as a precaution against Foot and Mouth Disease.
A summer club is planned for the school holidays this year, probably during August. More details will follow on this.
