This post mill is believed to be the oldest windmill in the British Isles, dating back to at least 1627. The mill was given to the the National Trust in 1937, and restoration by volunteers started in 1963.

Normally OPEN 2.30 to 6pm on Sundays and Bank Holidays, 1st May to 31st August (1998)

LOCATION: Just south of Ivinghoe village, beside the B488 road to Tring.
