Welcome to 32:sixteen (or 32:16 or thirty-two:sixteen, or... I think you get the idea).

The site which aims to tell you everything you ever wanted to know about singlespeeds but were afraid to ask. But we're slackers so we'll probably not achieve that aim. Still we hope we can at least answer some of your questions, satisfy a little curiosity here and there, and maybe even make you chuckle or question your own riding needs.

But as singlespeeders are generally weird bike fiends we won't discriminate against other bikes. In fact we'll cover some of those other weird bikes out there. Like tandems (they get their own pages at 2x2). Who knows but we may even include cross-bikes (or mention them in passing). There's a section on bike trailers at +1. And there'll even be a section which helps you fix things when it all goes wrong at @!*#$. That last sections a little sparse at the moment. Why? Because there's not much maintenance to do to a singlespeed.

In a cycling vein we have some rants some all round useful stuff and a selection of links. In response to feedback and comments on the singlespeed discussion forums we have introduced a beer of the monthcolumn, which we would like to say now is open to suggestions, input, and most importantly bribery.
