Welcome to 'Skendleby Texels Ltd' Web page. This page is all about 'Skendleby Texels LTD' and 'Texel sheep', a special breed of Dutch sheep.
There have been many updates since the site was first published back in January (most of them un-noticeable to the eye), but each time there has been a noticeable change in the number of visitors we recieve, as well as some feed back on how the site is doing. We have had some sugestions that perhaps we should put more pictures of the sheep on the site. This creates problems, as the pages take longer to load the more pictures you have on them, and that means you end up waiting. So we've created thumbnails so you can select the pictures you want to view before viewing the whole thing, this means you don't have to wait and it won't slow you down. This was the first Texel sheep page to be published in the UK (If you have any information to prove to the contrary please contact us we would love to know about it.) and you are visitor to this site.
The first prototype of this page was designed and put together by me in November of 1998 but due to some technical details was not published until 28 January 1999.
