The Aspin line (my wife's maternal ancestors) can be traced back from my current home in Clitheroe, Lancashire through, Accrington to the village of Lower Darwen just outside Blackburn, Lancashire. I have managed to trace this line back to around the the beginning of the 19th century (c1816). The family is outlined below as descendants of the oldest known ancestor, John Aspin.
