Smalley

The Smalley line (my mother's maternal ancestors) can be traced back from my current home in Clitheroe, Lancashire through the villages of Grindleton and Sawley in Yorkshire. I have managed to trace this line back to around the beginning of the 19th century (c1806) and during this time these ancestors have been strongly linked with the farming industry. The family is outlined below as descendants of the oldest known ancestor, Luke Smalley.
