The luxurious 3-star Hotel Royal Picardie is situated on the outskirts of Albert having a commanding view over the town, and especially the famous Basilica, which during the Great War became an icon for troops passing through on their way to the Front Line.   

The Hotel actually straddles what was once No Man's Land, when the Front Line of 1918 was pushed to the edge of Albert as the Germans army advanced towards Amiens.

All the rooms have a single and a double bed, as well as a separate WC and bathroom (with bath and shower).  There is also an excellent restaurant serving some of the best food to be had for miles around.
