Jamma cab - 20" monitor.
For those of you who do not know, JAMMA stands for Japanese Arcade Machine Manufacturers Association and became the standard connection used for most video game PCB's post 1985.
The monitor in this cabinet can be easily rotated, to allow you to play vertical or horizontal games, and as such, you can plug in any JAMMA compatible game - and even most classic games too - if you wire up a suitable adapter.
I say most games, as you can't
connect games which use a vector or X-Y monitor, as these are not compatible with the (raster) monitor in a JAMMA cab. Atari Starwars, Asteroids, Battlezone etc, are examples of vector games.
I acquired the cab March 2002. Like most machines it was pretty filthy and smelly, although working 100%. A bit of elbow grease was all that was needed to get it to a more than acceptable condition.
A log of the repairs carried out on this machine, so far.
