Taito Space Invaders.

What can I say! To most, myself included, this is the game that started it all. Ok, so there are earlier video games, but this is the one that seemed to capture everyone's imagination - they were absolutely everywhere in the late 70's!
Manufactured by Taito (Midway in the US) in 1978, this game was responsible for a national shortage of coins in Japan, as well as a shortage of 10p's in my Dad's pocket!!
I don't recall playing the Taito version that often as a teenager - but instead, the slightly smaller, but identically looking Zaccaria "The Invaders".
I would prefer to have that machine, but my perceived lack of spares for it, coupled with the fact that my games are to be played, not to stand gathering dust, doesn't make it viable at the moment.
(If you have a working Zac Invaders PCB for sale - please get in touch!!)

A log of the repairs carried out on this machine, so far.
