The Room!
This used to be the garage, housing the lawnmower and a Vauxhall Vectra, but these were turfed out, to make way for a few machines, previously residing in one of the bedrooms. Not exactly ideal!
The mower is now in the shed and the car is out in the cold - which means I have to scrape the ice off on cold mornings and wash the car more often! That soon became a bit too tedious, so now we're having another (seperate) garage built!
The finished room is a reasonable 15 feet by 8 feet and has room for six upright videos down the left wall and either four videos or two videos and one pin or two pins down the other.
I ran a new 30amp ring circuit from the fuseboard and gave each machine position its own dedicted mains outlet, allowing them to be switched on and off by switches either side of the entrance door, rather than
having to reach behind the machines. These grid switches also control lights, juke box and fridge, and are also pre-wired with
a couple more spurs, should future expansion be required [you can never have enough sockets!!]
