11th September 2001

The tragic and horrific events of 11th September 2001 will forever live in my memory until the day I die.

I have assembled some photographs taken on that day and afterwards. I am sure that they are copyrighted, but I am equally sure that the authors will not mind having them shown to a wider audience.

I felt I had to put something on my site to show what terrorism can and did achieve. This horrendous act woke the world up to the fact that there are bigoted people out there who will stop at nothing in trying to subjugate to their will and religion the peace-loving people of this world.

And where are we now, five years on from that terrible day? Iraq has a new Government but the country is in anarchy. Allied and Iraqi Troops, Police and Civilians are being killed on almost a daily basis by these religious terrorists...all in the name of Allah!
