to Abergynolwyn but the downtrain is late so you have to wait in the passing

Loco No:6 "Douglas" This is a representation of
the Talyllyn Locomotive no 6 Douglas. It arrived on the railway in 1954
having been given to the railway by Douglas Abelson of Abelson (Engineers
Ltd) - hence it's name. |

The Skarloey Railway
Loco No:6 "Duncan" This is a representation of
the Talyllyn Locomotive no 6 Douglas' twin engine called Duncan who runs on
the Isle of Sodor's Skarloey Railway. The Rev W Awdrey was a life long member
of the Talyllyn and decided to include all of the Talyllyn engines in his
Thomas The Tank Engine series. Many real life stories that happened on the
Talyllyn are retold in the Railway Series books with appropriate artistic
licence. |
