Rev. James
Kelly
The Rev. James Kelly, M.A. was ordained as Bishop's Curate in Belfast in
1910. He served in Ballymacarrett and was Rector of Muff.
He went on to become Rector of Drumholm from 1917-24 when he was then appointed
Rector of St Augustine's Church.
A feature of his ministry was the men's bible class and also the purchase of a
new Rectory in Queen Street for the sum of £1,675.
James Kelly became Rector of Dungiven and Bovevagh in 1931 and was made a
Canon of St Columb's Cathedral. He died in 1950.
