TOURISM :
We
have had another very good season and welcomed a large number of visitors
to our Church - 10,007 in fact - and a total of £2344.50 was contributed to Church funds.
As
last year, we have had visitors from all over the world, all of whom were
very complimentary about the warmth of the welcome they received and the
condition of the Church and grounds.
As
you know, we rely heavily on our volunteer guides to make this possible,
so to all those who gave of their services, we offer our grateful thanks.
We hope to open the Church as usual next Summer and are always
anxious to recruit some more volunteers, so if you have some spare time on
your hands during the week, please keep this in mind for next year and
contact the convenor, Ivan Bell.
