There is a single long beach which is generally considered as two separate beaches. The more accessible one is the northern end.
Car Parking
Car parking is not too big a problem in St Bees, except for the Main Street, where it is restricted and sometimes difficult. There are three car parks, one free, two with charges.

Playgrounds
Two children's playgrounds - a small one adjacent to the primary school playing field; a larger one down by the Main (northern) beach.
Post Office
A Post Office (& Newsagent/Gift Shop/Confectioner) is situated on the Main Street
Transport & Travel
St Bees can be reached by road or rail. In theory it also can be reached by sea and helicopter, but the former is difficult (no parking for boat) and the latter expensive!
Public Toilets
Two are available - one situated by the Main Beach, the other is adjacent to the Station. There is even a "Dog Loo" by the Main Beach!
