The Moderator of the Ardrossan Presbytery, the Rev Martin Thomson, Thursday 9th February

as part of his visitations in the Presbytery is holding a meeting in the Kirk House, Auld Kirk, Kilbirnie on Thursday 9th February at 7.30pm. His theme is ‘Why is it reasonable to believe in God’. An invitation is extended to everyone to go along and hear Mr Thomson. Tea will be provided. If you intend going please contact either Ian Brown on 832932 or Gilda Smith in the office on 832264. This is to assist the Auld Kirk with catering arrangements.

Friday Night at St Margaret's - Friday 10th February 2012

Tickets are now available price £4 for our next evening  on Friday 10th February 2012, 7pm for 7.30pm.this will be a demonstration from Stormdancer Creations Pottery.

Pastoral Group Meeting 15th February

The next meeting of the Kirk Session’s Pastoral Group will take place this Wednesday 15th  February at 7.30pm in the Sanctuary.

Scottish Bible Society Sat 25th February  Coffee morning 10am – 12noon

St Palladius are hosting this year’s Scottish Bible Society Coffee Morning, in St Palladius Church Hall. Donations of baking can be handed in on the morning of the event or the day before from 10.30am until 2pm (when the café will be open). All donations will be greatly appreciated as will your support on the day.

Ceilidh with Roy & Gordon Saturday 3rd March 2012

On Saturday 3rd March 2012 from 7pm until 10.30pm Friday night at St Margaret’s are holding a Family Ceilidh in the Church Hall. Tickets price £5 for adults and £3 for children are now available from committee members. Includes a light supper.

Friday Night at St Margaret’s - Fri 9th March presents 

Friday Night at St Margaret’s has arranged for this 40 strong male voice choir to perform in the church on Friday 9th March 2012 from 7.30pm until 9pm. Tickets price £6 can be bought from any committee member or at the door. Please do not miss this wonderful opportunity to hear this well-known choir. The doors will be open on the evening from 6.45pm.

Safeguarding Course, St Margaret’s Dalry, Saturday 10th March 2012

Further to the recent letter to all Children’s Workers and Pastoral Care Visitors, if you are going to attend the course, please reply to Elizabeth Cuthbertson, not by the date in your letter, but no later than Sunday 19th February. 

This is to allow the Trainer to prepare the course.

The bus leaves St Palladius School at 10am and arrives back at 8pm approx.. Cost to Edinburgh & High Tea at Livingstone Inn is £19.50 and for those going on to the Britannia an extra £9.50 or £7.75 (concession). Please give your names to either Anne Smith or Penny Brown as soon as possible
