The Stars ‘n’ Stripes Free Party Nights programme for 2004 got off to a lively and colourful start with our “Harem Night” at McConnell’s of Doagh on 5 February. A month later, on 10 March, we had our “Irish Hooley” at the Ulster Transport Bowling Club, Jordanstown. The latest Party Night was our “Wartime Knees-up” on 10 June at the Royal British Legion Club, Lisburn. So far this year we have played host to a total of 750 guests drawn from 50+ clubs throughout Newtownabbey, Antrim, Lisburn, Ballyclare, Larne, Carrickfergus and Belfast. One further Party Night is planned for this year - a “Hawaiian Hula” on 15 September - in McConnell's of Doagh.
