By the end of 2004 Stars ‘n’ Stripes Dancers will have hosted a total of 43 Party Nights and entertained approximately 11,000 people completely free-of-charge at various venues throughout the province. On three occasions we hosted parties for Gateway Club members and carers. To eliminate travel difficulties and offer the comfort and security of familiar surroundings those parties took place at their own Club premises - two in Carrickfergus and one in Newtownards.

In 2005, we intend to widen the scope of our activities with the introduction of “Dance Unlimited” which will provide entertainment in hospitals, day care centres, seniors clubs, nursing homes, sheltered housing, etc, catering for those unable to travel to our Party Nights. Bookings will be accepted from October 2004, and there will be a fee for our services to help off-set the costs of travel, costumes etc. We also want to increase our involvement in community activities and particularly with community relations events. As a result, from 2005 onwards Party Nights will be restricted to two per year, one in May and one in November.
