I can't believe it's been two years since you did the last interview, so what's happened to you since that time?: Well I left sunny old Barnsley and moved across the Pennines to Manchester. I really love it over here and I've made some really good friends, I still miss my old mates back in Yorkshire, and I suppose I don't get over to see people as often as I could. I've had a few jobs on Canal Street bars working, but never really got the feel for it, all in all it's been good fun.

What did you find hard about bar work?: The late nights in Manchester killed me. Back in Barnsley we'd be cleaned, locked up and on the way home by midnight, whereas everything on Canal Street doesn't close until 2am at the earliest and I just couldn't stay awake long enough and was ready to drop long before the end. Which is a shame because I really do enjoy working in that sort of environment.

I see you are single again how does that make you feel?: Mixed really, I don't really need commitment to make me happy, my ex was, and still is my best friend and we still have fun together, more in fact without the label 'boyfriends' to try and live up to. I'm not against finding someone else, but they would have to be a friend above a boyfriend if that makes sense.

So how did you get into doing the porn films?: Well mainly got busy when I moved across to Manchester, I did a few shoots for a Manchester based site, Sportlads.com and really wanted to make more of a go of it, I then did a number of shoots with GBBoys.com who were based back in Wakefield. Then in March last year got an email from Boyz on Film, which is how I got to doing Soccer Kids.

So who was the blond lad in the first scene in Soccer Kids you had the pleasure of tasting?: That is Leo James who's been in quite a number of films and websites. He's quite well hung isn't he :)? He also gave me a very special tour of London, we walked from the Millennium Wheel to the tower of London, which took longer than the 5 minutes he said it would. You mentioned Leo took you on a tour of parts of London, and then you both went to a sauna there, do you like saunas and what do you get up to in them (lol)?: Well I was down for something else so stayed at a mates house then caught an early bus into the centre of London (never ever again) we met up by the Millennium Wheel and I wanted to visit Buckingham Palace and the Tower of London. Oh no problem says Leo, the tower is only ten minutes walk away. It's a blazing hot day so we take our shirts off and set off. Two and a half hours later we arrive at the Tower, only to find it's lunchtime so it's rammed and our shoulders are sore, so we went for lunch and decided the sauna was cheaper and more fun. My guide promptly fell asleep in a booth leaving me to wander around, show off in the swimming pool and so on. Yes I like saunas, I think they're a great way to relax, have guys eye me up and talk with guys who I'd usually not meet.

How did you manage to get the lift all to yourselves for the duration of your blowjob on each other, in Soccer Kids?: Luck mainly, it was originally supposed to just be a quick snog, but as it was looking good we thought we'd carry it on. If you do get noticed because of your films have they helped you pull a guy?: Quite the opposite I'm afraid, it tends to send most guys I like running for the hills. I suppose I can understand the jealousy factor it would bring to a relationship, and it's not everyone, just seems to be guys between 19-29 that have a real issue with it, guys who are younger or older seem to be able to see it's just a job and I'm sure find it a bit of a turn on.

Now you have done porn films do porn films still turn you on if you watch them, because you now know the mechanics of it all behind the scenes and in front of camera etc?: God no, when I am in the sauna is the only time I see them, and even then I'm watching with a critical eye thinking 'I'd not be doing it like that' or 'the camera is all wrong there' I suppose if it was good porn I'd not notice, but no, it's not really a turn on for me, unless I'm in it.

Do you think what you are doing, whilst you are filming your scenes, turns on the crews behind the camera,?: I'd imagine there's a limit to how many naked guys you can see without it getting old. I've asked a few of them and they've all said the same that they switch off and don't really notice. It's a professional thing I suppose as well, if they're busy worrying about their hard-ons or wanting to jump in they'd not be able to do their job properly.

In one of your out photo shoots whose idea was it for the football kit and where did they get that football, LOL?: The idea was mine, I'm a big football fan, I'm still a Barnsley fan, but living five minutes from Old Trafford I've got to go and see Manchester United a few times and I like the way they play, especially compared to Chelsea. On your old blog there is a picture of you showing part of your bottom back to the camera holding up a car bonnet, how did that picture come about?: That was part of a photo shoot I did for my own profile site, we found a quite car park and did a series of them there. You seem to know quite a lot about life and about gay issues what do you think is the biggest problem for us gay boys in and out of the scene these days?: Intolerance. Not from the straights so much (although obviously there are still jerks) but from ourselves. How often are you on Fitlads or Gaydar and it turns into a bitching session, now yeah maybe it is all intended in fun, but I think we have enough problems without judging each other on stupid things like looks or age.

What articles have you done on www.Puffta.co.uk since your last interview?: Quite a few, my favourite one was getting to review and get a promotional copy of Meat Loaf's newest album, he's an absoulte legend and I got the CD a fortnight before it went on sale anywhere else, I was very pleased.

What are youtr plans for the rest of the year?: I'm hoping to get my own site LukesLair.co.uk up and running which will be a twinky BDSM site. I hope to get established as a writer and find a full time job doing that and I hope to find love with someone special.
