Violet May Price

Violet May Price was Julie Gill's Maternal Grandmother.  Upon her death a latter was found amongst her few possessions. This letter transpired to be from her Uncle Jo in 1913 and was a log of his family's emigration journey to Montreal, Canada.  Some background is provide below.

Background: Letter to Violet May Price – a Transcript

 The transcript was made in February 2006 by Stephen Gibbon and Julie Gibbon (nee Gill, granddaughter of Violet May) from an original letter dated October 7^th 1913.  The letter is to Violet May Price from her Uncle Joe Moxham shortly after his family’s emigration from Monmouthshire, Wales to Montreal, Canada.  Accompanying this is a diary of their journey.
