We had two periods in Singapore on the way to and return from New Zealand. Our hotels were both good -  the Orchard and the Miramar.

This gave us four days there in total.  There is a photo  gallery of our visit (but unfortunately Singapore was covered in smog from Indonesian forest fires and was a bit grey, resulting in grey flat photographs for the most part). In addition we visited:

• The Singapore Botanic and Orchid Gardens (excellent);

• The Night Safari Zoo;

• The river area including Clark Quay and Boat Quay;

• The Art Museum;

• Santosa and the Cable Car journey there;

• Chinatown;

• Jurong Bird Park;

• Singapore Science Museum (I wish I was young again!); and of course

• We experienced Eating and Shopping in Singapore - the two major interests of the locals.

Unfortunately we have no pictures of the night safari (you are not allowed to take pictures) but this is an exceptional experience even if you are not a fan of zoos.  The animals do not appear, caged although they are (discretely), the commentary is good and the visit well worth while.  The night safari is actually part of Singapore Zoo and the world's first such attraction.
